Organic ✅

Enjoy the deep mellow taste, elegant aroma, and bright color of the highest quality organic Matcha in Japan. Our Super-Premium grade Matcha has been artfully grown and harvested by a devoted father & son team in Kyoto, Japan. Their technique involves tea leaves that have been carefully cultivated using no pesticides and hand-picked when at optimal taste. Previously thought impossible, this tea combines true cermonial Matcha tradition with organic mindfulness.

Matcha is sealed in a high-barrier bag and placed in a rubber sealed steel tin to preserve its freshness. Tin contains 1.41 oz (40 grams) of certified organic Matcha.

Matcha preparation directions per 8 oz. serving: Using a bamboo matcha whisk (or chasen), whisk 1 flat teaspoon (2 grams) of matcha directly into semi-hot water at 160° until tea fully dissolves, leaving a creamy, light green infusion.

Spend $70 or more and receive FREE SHIPPING. All orders under $70 ship for one low Flat Rate of $5.75, regardless of size and weight. Orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and usually leave our shop within 48 hours of your order.

Just The FAQ

We depend on (2) essentials when sourcing our tea: our picky taste buds and our personal relationships with some of the finest tea growers to ensure excellent taste, quality, environmental stewardship, and reasonable prices for our customers. We've been at this for 20 years and still relish the quest for amazing tea.

A walk in Washington Square Park, a day at the beach, a backyard BBQ, a slice at the local pizza place to name a few. The every day experiences of life are our inspirations. We love to make gift sets with reusable and recyclable materials, such as glass vials, wooden boxes, and pulp paper clamshells. The combination of sustainability with delicious ingredients is a major factor in the design and curation of our sets.

We bring in spices, salts, and herbs from all over the world.

By cultivating close relationships with growers, harvesters, and importers, we strive to source the best quality and most delicious ingredients for all types of cuisines and uses.

With an emphasis on taste, aroma, and sustainability, we work with producers to source the most flavorful, unique, and freshest spices and herbs available.

We are a small, family-owned business that has been in the tea and spice industry for over 20 years.

We hold firm to the idea that individual customer service and passion for our products sets us apart. From custom tea blends, to that perfect present, every item in our store is thoughtfully and carefully selected with tea and spice lovers in mind.

Whether you are in the market for your first loose leaf tea or are looking for dinner inspiration, we are happy to offer our extensive knowledge and recommendations to all who visit with us.

Matcha - Ceremonial, Organic

Coffee lover turned matcha lover

I’ve switched my morning routine from coffee/meditation to matcha/meditation. I feel awake without any stomach issues and am enjoying the varieties of drinking my matcha in lattes, smoothies and just hot water. It’s a true gem!

Great Matcha

The first time I had matcha was in Kyoto in the tea house of Ippodo a century old tea shop. The matcha was a revelation. Your brand more than favorably compares with that first impression. It is mellow, reinvigorating, and it clears and focuses the mind. Thank you for carrying it.
